Self-Defense is defined as “self-defense in the most effective and quick way by using each and every possible movement in the case facing of any physical threat”. Self-defense doesn’t aim to attack or cause harm, but to escape the attacker without getting hurt. It’s not a solely a fight or a defense sport, but instead a “defense style” including the combination of the most practical and effective techniques of various fight and defense arts. It also aims to teach the practical defense and fighting skills to the person, but does not require a mastering or a specialization in any particular area. The techniques thought in this class include hitting the weakest points of the body, hurling, locking, and strangulation. The class is open to both men and women.
